Precious glasses from Chanel
This fall there's a distinctly baroque feel chez Chanel, and Karl Lagerfeld,
creative director of the French fashion house, is championing the trend
with the launch of a line of luxury glasses with precious metal frames.
From cat-eye to round and rectangular, the feminine frames made from
old gold and palladium feature hand-cut lace detailing and, of course,
the infamous double C logo. The pastel palette of lilac, turquoise, rose
pink and pale blue give a soft touch to the luxurious frames, though
for those after a more discreetly elegant look, the range also features
an opulent black pair.
Available from November 2012 in Chanel boutiques.
