Mark Hampton
Mark Hampton discovered his passion for hair at the age of 17 when he started his training at Vidal Sassoon. He would continue working with them in the UK and abroad for the next four years.
After moving to London and meeting Guido Palao, Hampton went on assist him for sixyears on around 100 shows a year, and cites him as a major influence on his work and an inspiration both in terms of creativity and meticulous working methods.
Mark Hampton launched his freelance career with the Julian Watson agency in October 2011, and since then has worked on several international campaigns, for brands including Valentino and CK Jeans. He is interviewed by Frédérique Verley, beauty editor for Vogue Paris for the October 2012 issue, in which he appears in the Talents Cachés beauty story alongside Benjamin Puckey, Janeen Witherspoon and Akki Shirakawa as one of the four young talents making their mark on the world of beauty.
